| Botox Injections |
| Injections of appropriate doses of Botox Cosmetic weaken muscles which contract
to cause wrinkles and creases. Expression is still possible but creases don't form
and wrnkles are reduced or eliminated. Results may tak 7-10 days to occur and last
4 months on average. Frown lines between the brows take 25-38 units, brow elevation
33-48 units, crows feet 10-20 units, horizontal forhead lines 20-50 units, lip lines
4-10 units all depending on the surface area and thickness of the muscle. Young
patients can prrevent long-term creases and older patients may require filler to
further reduce established lines. |
| Restylane/Juvederm Injections |
| These fillers, made of hyaluronic acid (HA) a substance found in our joint fluis
and skin, are used to fill lines and grooves in the skin. By pushing the skin up
the shadows created by overhead light are reduced resulting in less visible lines
and grooves. Lip lines, frown lines, nasolabial folds between the nose and mouth,
and marionette lines between the mouth and chin can all be reduced or eliminated.
Minor dark circles under the eyes are easily imporved. Hyaluronic acid fillers are
also the bedt for making lips larger resulting in smoother and pinker natural looking
lips. Results are immediate but swelling and reddness can last a few dyas and bruising
can occur lasting 4-10 days. No skin testing is required and results may last 4-13
months depending on the location. |
| Radiesse Injections |
| Radiesse is a soft tissue filler used in all areas execpt the lips. It is a biocompatible
and biodegradable calcium based material similar to microscopic bone. Now FDA approved,
it is used in the deeper skin giving a more firm and longer lasting correction of
lines, grooves, and hollows. In general, Radiesse will last twice as long as hyaluronic
acid in most areas. A syringe of Radiesse contains 30% more prosuct than HA fillers.
Transient side effects and saftey are essentially the same as HA fillers. |
| Sculptra Injections for Facial Soft Tissue & Shape |
| Most facial aging occurs as a result of soft tissue volume loss and the descent
of the remainging tissues. Rather than solid filler, Sculptra can be thought of
as seeds planted deep in the skin to grow new collagen. As the Sculptra particles
are consumed in a controlled inflammatory response, collaged is laid down that thicken
and firms the skin. Three to five sessions 4-8 weeks apart are needed for complete
results, which may last 2-5 years. The amount of product can only be estimated and
details are provided in a comprehensive consultation. Marketed as "the liquid facelift"
in Europe, downtime is the same as any injectable but results can be as dramatic
as some surgical procedures. |

| Laser "Photo Facial" |
| In addition to hair removal, the painless Aesthura PPX IPL laser can be used for

addition to the laser energy, a chemical called ALA can be applied to the skin for
an hour and then "photoactivated" to destroy precancerous skin cells or hyperactive
sebaceous glands that cause acne. There is no pain with the actual procedure but
sun exposure must be avoided for 36 hours. Downbtime is limited to 5-7 days of redness
and superficial peeling. Data is being collected on the treatment's value in preventing
and treating non-malenomatous skin cancer. Treatments may be effective in one treatment
for early aging and solar damage, and may be repeated up to 4 time a year for more
severe damage. This is the most advanced therapy available in dermatology today. |

dermis to contract exisisting collagen and elastin bundles as well as the connective
tissue bands that hold the skin to underlying tissues. the device coold the surface
to avoid a surface burn and generates skin contraction and new collagen formation
by injuring the deeper layers of skin. in one session at a cooler, less uncomfortable
temperature. Some contraction and shping is visible immediately in over 90% of patients
with this new protocol and continued contaction and collagen deposition may continue

| Lipodissolve |
| Yes, you can spot reduce! Lipodissolve is the injection of a chemical that breaks
up fat cells leading to the loss of that fat. Contraction of the overlying skin
occurs from the inflammatory process immediately below the skin where the fat resides.
Although similar to Mesotherapy, we do not use anything but the PC/DC fat dissolving
chemical rather than the combination of stimulants or vitamin commonly included
in Mesotherapy injectin cocktails. The fat is destroyed by white blood cells and
taken away permanently with no effect on serum lipids and no risk of fat embolism.
